Christopher B. Murphy, DPM
Dr. Christopher B. Murphy is a board-certified podiatric surgeon with a longstanding commitment to delivering compassionate, expert foot and ankle care to patients across Volusia County. With offices in both Edgewater and Port Orange, FL, Dr. Murphy provides personalized treatment plans that combine advanced medical knowledge with a patient-centered approach.
Dr. Murphy earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY, before completing his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He went on to complete his podiatric surgical residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, where he trained extensively in both surgical and non-surgical treatment of foot and ankle conditions. He also received additional specialized education in microvascular surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Dr. Murphy has a special interest in Wound care, surgery, and heel pain.
Board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Murphy holds hospital privileges at AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach. He is a proud Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Florida Podiatric Medical Association, and the Volusia County Podiatric Medical Association.
